What We Think Matters in Technical Education

Self-Paced Structure

Courses are designed around a realistic weekly hour range, not a fixed schedule. You decide when to study; the material stays available throughout your enrolment period.

Written Notebook Feedback

Submitted work receives written comments from a course educator — not automated scoring. This tends to surface small misunderstandings before they become larger gaps.

Deliberate Progression

Each course assumes and builds on the previous one. Python Foundations → ML Pathway → Deep Learning Bootcamp follows a logical sequence rather than jumping to advanced topics.

Practical Notebooks

Every week includes a hands-on notebook exercise. The goal is to read real code, run it, change something, and see what happens — not just watch video explanations.

Office Hours Access

From the ML Pathway onwards, students can attend a weekly video session with a mentor. Bring a question from the week's notebook — or just listen to how others are working through the same material.

Portfolio Work Included

The ML Pathway includes three small projects; the Deep Learning Bootcamp ends with a capstone. These are pieces you actually built — something to show and explain if that becomes useful later.

Common Questions

Do I need prior experience to take the Python Foundations course?
No prior programming experience is needed for Python Foundations. The course starts from the beginning — what a variable is, how a loop works, what a function does. The pace is described as calm: roughly four to six hours per week over eight weeks.
Can I take the Machine Learning Pathway without completing Python Foundations at Synapsy?
Yes. The ML Pathway requires a Python foundation, but that does not have to come from our course. If you have already spent time with Python and feel comfortable with functions, loops, and working with data structures, the pathway is designed to start from that point.
What does "self-paced" mean in practice?
The recorded lessons and notebooks are available from enrolment. There is no fixed time each week when you must attend. Weekly hour estimates (4–6 hours for Python, 6–8 for ML, more for the Bootcamp) give a rough sense of the work involved, but the schedule is yours to set.
How does written notebook feedback work?
For the Python Foundations course, you submit three notebooks across the eight weeks. A course educator reads through your work and writes comments — pointing out things that are working well, flagging anything that looks off, and sometimes suggesting a different approach. This is a human review, not an automated check.
What is the payment process and refund policy?
Course fees are paid in full before enrolment opens. Payment options and refund conditions are outlined in our Terms and Conditions. We are happy to clarify anything before you commit — use the contact form below or call us directly.
Is the Deep Learning Bootcamp suitable for someone who has only completed the ML Pathway?
The bootcamp asks for prior programming experience and comfort with code, which completing the ML Pathway would provide. That said, the bootcamp is described as intensive — 16 weeks with hands-on notebooks and a panel-reviewed capstone. It suits committed learners who are ready to spend meaningful time with the material each week.
How is my personal data handled?
We collect only what is needed for enrolment and course delivery: name, email address, and payment records. We do not share contact details with third parties for marketing. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
